Translate a manga chapter from image files

PanelLingo is an online batch manga translator for saved manga, manhwa and webtoon images. Select PNG, JPG or WebP files, choose a target language, and use Advanced cloud translation to produce translated pages and text. No browser extension is required for this workflow.

1. Add your pages

Select up to 200 images per queue, up to 10 MiB each and 500 MiB in total. Pages are ordered by filename. Images are resized proportionally to fit within 1600 × 1920 pixels.

2. Choose a language and review the cost

The source language is detected automatically. Sign in, select a target language and review your Advanced point quote before starting translation. One-time point packs do not renew automatically.

3. Preview and download

Compare translated pages with the originals. Download completed images, source and translated text, or a ZIP of completed results. Large ZIP exports are split into volumes.

110 target-language options

The website uses the same Advanced target-language catalog as the PanelLingo extension, including English, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean, Spanish, French, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Thai and Vietnamese. Language names appear in their own language. Translation and lettering quality vary with the language, image clarity and text style.

Batch translation questions

Is online batch translation free?

Website batch translation uses Advanced points. Free local translation is available separately in the desktop Chrome extension. For batch pages, the normalized image size determines the price: up to 1 megapixel costs 2 points, up to 2 megapixels costs 3, and larger accepted images cost 4. Review the quote before starting. Local failures before cloud processing cost 0 points. Returned cloud results and failed output with verified model cost use the normal image points, including no-text output. A valid cloud translation result is charged once. Failed or incomplete image layout does not return those points; retrying layout or downloading saved text does not charge again.

Can I translate manga on a phone without installing an app?

Open this website in a compatible mobile browser and select images from your device. No app installation is required. Keep the tab open during processing. Browser memory and storage vary by device, so use a smaller batch if a large queue exceeds your phone's capacity.

Can I upload a PDF, CBZ or ZIP?

The tool accepts PNG, JPG and WebP images. Export pages from a PDF or extract an archive to image files first. ZIP is an output format for downloading completed results, not an upload format.

What is sent to the cloud?

Adding files prepares a queue on your device. Starting Advanced translation sends prepared translation inputs to cloud services. Text results are available for 30 days; original images remain in this browser's local queue until you clear it. Read the Privacy Policy for processing and retention details.

Will every word and sound effect be translated?

Advanced focuses on detected dialogue and narration. Decorative sound effects, blurred lettering and difficult backgrounds may remain unchanged. Review the preview against the original before downloading.
