Using PanelLingo
PanelLingo is operated by PawChef LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to PawChef LLC. PanelLingo is the product name.
PanelLingo provides translation tools for manga, comics, manhwa and webtoons that you choose to read. Use content you are entitled to access and process. PanelLingo does not grant rights to third-party artwork or bypass publishers' access controls. Our website uses original demonstration artwork and example translation results; these examples are not a guarantee of the result for every image or website.
Free and Advanced Translation
The browser extension offers Free local translation and Advanced cloud translation. Free does not require an account or Advanced points. It requires a supported desktop Chrome environment, sufficient device resources and an available language pair. Initial model or language downloads may be required. Website and language support vary, and some text may remain unchanged.
Advanced requires a signed-in account and sufficient points. It sends the selected translation input to our cloud services as described in the Privacy Policy. Choose the mode, language and scope before starting. The translation action checks the applicable point cost and proceeds with the selected task; it is not followed by a separate purchase-confirmation step for each image. Enabling automatic translation allows eligible new content to be processed in the selected mode, and Advanced automatic translation uses points.
Translation results can contain errors; you can compare them with the original content. A page or selection can involve multiple processed images and a total point cost greater than one point. The interface displays estimates and task status; account activity records the point transactions.
Delivery and Saved Translations
Advanced point charging is settled before the paid result is delivered. The extension reports whether a result was displayed. A confirmed delivery failure can result in a point correction; a missing response or disconnected session may require recovery or review rather than an immediate automatic return. Translation-point corrections are separate from cash refunds of point purchases.
Saved translations keeps original images and recovery information on the local device to help reopen available paid results for the same account and installation. It is not a promise of a permanent or cross-device comic library. Removing a saved original deletes that local recovery copy and does not refund points or delete related server records. Recovery availability depends on the retained local information and corresponding server result. See the Privacy Policy for storage and deletion details.
Accounts and Points
Use the same account in the extension and website to access the same point balance. Advanced point packs are one-time purchases, without a subscription or automatic renewal. The payment provider displays the final amount before payment. Points belong to the account that opens checkout. Point balances update after the server confirms payment; opening or returning from checkout does not confirm a purchase.
Before checkout, you must agree to the Terms and acknowledge the Refund Policy presented for that purchase. We retain the corresponding policy acknowledgment. This general acknowledgment does not itself waive mandatory rights requiring separate express consent.
If a payment is disputed, refunded or reversed, unused points attributable to that purchase may be held or adjusted as explained in Payment reviews and point balances. Other valid purchases and complimentary points are not used to cover a shortfall from that order. This explanation does not change the rights attached to an earlier purchase.
For a purchase or balance problem, contact support@getpanelpal.com with the relevant purchase reference. Do not send payment card details, passwords, or verification codes.
Refunds and Consumer Rights
For point-pack purchases made on or after 2026-09-08, we do not offer voluntary refunds for a change of mind. Payment errors, undelivered purchases and service problems are reviewed under our Refund Policy. Mandatory consumer rights, including any applicable cancellation rights and remedies for services not provided as promised, are not limited by this policy. Changes do not retroactively remove rights attached to an earlier purchase.
Corrections to points used for an individual translation are separate from monetary refunds for a point-pack purchase. Read the Refund Policy before buying points for the scope, exceptions and contact details.
Website Batch Translation and Support
Selecting images and previewing them is free. The website stores originals and recovery copies in the current browser until you clear the queue or site data. Requesting a quote sends file metadata, not image content. Starting a quoted batch uploads resized images for cloud processing and uses your shared account points, with the maximum price shown before you start. Closing the tab stops further uploads; already submitted work may finish. Refreshing can recover saved progress.
Batch output includes translated text and lettering that can be safely placed on the image. Some source lettering or artwork may remain unchanged when safe placement is unavailable; review the region count and text output before relying on a translated image. Translation failures and images with no translatable text cost no points. Successful cloud translation is charged once even if the browser needs another attempt to lay out or download the image. Network errors alone do not establish that a task failed or was not charged; resume the saved task to reconcile it. Contact support for a delivery problem. Mandatory consumer remedies remain available.
Recovered results within their 30-day retention period and repeated downloads do not incur a second translation charge. Translating an expired cloud result again requires a new quote and can incur a new charge. Clearing local storage can remove the original images required to reconstruct downloadable output; keep your downloads. Initial batch input supports PNG, JPEG and WebP, up to 20 files and 10 MB each; long images over a 4:1 aspect ratio must be split into pages. Processing copies fit within 1600 × 1920 pixels.
Feedback submissions can include a description, contact email and an optional screenshot. After you confirm submission, our administrators can review them. There is no user-facing reply inbox or progress tracker. You can sign in using an email verification code or Google when available. Use the same verified email address to access your existing account and points.
Saved Results
Completed Advanced cloud results are available for 30 days. Content associated with unresolved delivery issues is retained until resolution, then for 30 days. Saved originals stay on your device until removed, but do not guarantee indefinite cloud-result recovery. Expiry does not automatically return translation points or erase purchase records. Mandatory consumer remedies remain available.
